Values of Plaisir du Mouvement
LPM is to live and train within the framework of real educational values that seems to us essential in the training of the young player and the future citizen. The presence of foreign players (Italy, United Kingdom, Netherlands etc… ) allows an immersion in the philosophy of sharing and exchange.
The concept of Le Plaisir du Mouvement
Teaching children to play rugby is not teaching them gestures, but constantly creating the conditions for the child to evolve in an environment structured by rules that he must appropriate.
It is then up to the educator to create the conditions so that it becomes necessary and useful to introduce rules, not as an external pedagogical requirement decided by the adult, but as an internal requirement intended for the evolution of the child.
The primary objective is the development of the qualities of intelligence (perception) and courage (confrontation). Rugby gives those who practice it the opportunity to live through these values. That is, a way of being, of expressing oneself, of behaving; at the limit, a philosophy of play, even of life.
The greater the difficulty, the more it involves man, the more essential are the values.
In Rugby, the player is involved in terms of skill, intelligence, but he is also very involved emotionally and corporeally, precisely because bodily involvement makes the emotional intervention multiply tenfold.
